Israeli Military Censor Demanded Redactions in Nearly 5,000 News Items This Year

Freedom-of-information data shows Israel's military censor flagged 4,974 news items for redaction in 2025 — the second-highest year on record — while police and civilians physically obstructed Arab and foreign journalists at missile strike sites during the war with Iran.
