Two More Journalists Arrested in Rwanda

Cameraman Augustin Nsanzimana and broadcast journalist Emmanuel Niyonshuti were placed in pre-trial detention in Rwanda, adding to a pattern in which more than a dozen journalists and commentators remain imprisoned, many for YouTube speech critical of the government. The report also notes that YouTuber Aimable Karasira died on the day of his scheduled prison release under suspicious circumstances.
