CENTCOM Deploys 15,000 Troops, 100-Plus Aircraft to Back 'Freedom Project' in Strait of Hormuz

U.S. Central Command announced it will begin supporting "Project Freedom" from May 4 with 15,000 personnel and more than 100 aircraft to guarantee safe passage of commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
