Rights Group Hana Condemns Iran's Media Crackdown and Internet Shutdowns

Human rights organization Hana marked World Press Freedom Day by denouncing the Islamic Republic's systematic repression of media, journalists, writers, and citizen reporters, declaring that in Iran "news becomes a crime and truth is pitted against the security and judicial apparatus."
