Russian Orthodox Church Claims More Masterpieces From State Museums

Moscow's Tretyakov Gallery handed over the Vladimir and Don Mother of God icons — Byzantine and Old Russian masterpieces — to the Russian Orthodox Church on April 3, just ahead of Orthodox Easter, with Patriarch Kirill crediting the decision to Vladimir Putin.
